Gasland examines “the largest domestic natural gas drilling boom in history” that has swept across the United States. The Haliburton developed drilling technology of “fracking” or hydraulic fracturing has unlocked a “Saudia Arabia of natural gas” just beneath us. But is fracking safe? Doors through the theatre will be open to the Arts Building next door for a Coffee House fundraiser that Vanier High School is hosting for the Kenya Team. Enjoy special guest musicians, a contemporary art show and Ashanti coffees. All film ticket holders are invited to use their tickets as admission to the coffee house prior to the film.
